GIANNA AND CHAZZ PALMINTERI!

Always champions for animal causes, Gianna and Chazz are proud to be partnered with Paws Crossed for their dedication toward rescue and their commitment to saving and placing every animal in the most caring home.

Gianna and Chazz are supporters of several rescue groups and are especially proud to support Animal Aid, Inc of New Jersey and the work of Karen Talbot who is instrumental in saving thousands of animals from kill shelters in Georgia.  Karen and her team of heroes drive down to the South, rescue hundreds of dogs every month and then find loving foster and forever homes for them here in the tristate area.  Gianna plans to go to Georgia this fall to help her friend Suzanne Gutin and the rescue team save more dogs and help place them into loving homes. 

Gianna and Chazz Palminteri also support KNINE RESCUE out of Brookville, Maryland supporting the work started by late Chris Biscardi. She believed that every dog deserved a loving home and through KNINE RESCUE they have fostered and placed thousands of dogs with families.  Gianna’s sister Angela Edwards is an active member of KNINE RESCUE and together will be finding homes for new rescues this fall. The Palminteris will now add Paws Crossed Animal Rescue to that list!

Additionally, Gianna and Chazz have aided & adopted a Premarin Foal which was placed at a children’s rehabilitation center to bring together children and foals to facilitate healing through love.  Animal cruelty for any reason cannot be tolerated.

Along with their son Dante, their daughter Gabriella and their three dogs, Kaiser, Wolfgang & Coco, the Palminteri’s have aided, rescued and adopted countess guinea pigs, hamsters, lizards, tortoises, cats, bunnies, birds and assorted wild birds needing rehabilitation and care.  The humane treatment of animals is of upmost importance and along with children’s welfare & advocacy, animal welfare is a cause they will continue to fight for through their Child Reach Foundation.  As Gianna says, “These are our babies too! “

When Gianna and Chazz are not cleaning up and chasing after their fur babies, they are busy acting, writing and producing for Film & Television.  Amongst Chazz’s many films is his now successful broadway musical, A Bronx Tale the Musical, on tour throughout the US where it has been a great success for the last five years.   His new series, Godfather of Harlem, premiers on EPIX this Fall.  Gianna’s latest film project is A Mob Kid which is currently in development and will be filmed next year. She is also an acting coach who works with high school and college theater students. 

Their children Dante and Gabriella are actors and musicians as well and can be seen on tour or on stage this fall.
