Business Opportunities

One of the best parts of Paws Crossed is our community!

We love partnering with the community to further our mission to "Rescue One By One Until There Are None".

These programs offer our partners an interactive experience with Paws Crossed and our pets! Whether you are trying to increase awareness of your organization, improve employee morale, or get your employees engaged and involved, we can help!

Cuddle Program:

We will bring puppies to your office! The Cuddle Program is designed to help alleviate stress in the workplace through animal encounters. The purpose is to reduce stress, increase morale, boost productivity and increase job satisfaction.

Companies are now realizing the benefits that animals bring to the workplace, as research has proven that the presence of animals helps to reduce stress, promote healing, and relieve depression, which will leave your employees with a positive perspective. The pets in this program will be puppies or young dogs.

Here’s how it works:

• Pick a few dates that might work for your company (availability will vary based on dates and available pets).

• The animal encounters may take place inside, as we can visit individual offices, cubicles or common areas.

• The sessions are typically 2 hours between 11am and 3pm based on Rescue availability.

• Two or three animals will be provided for the visit depending on availability.

• This program is offered to any company within a 15 mile radius of Paws Crossed Animal Rescue.

• The Cuddle Program is $500 per session.

• Download your form and send it in to Julie@pawscrossedny.org to schedule your visit!

Awareness Day or Event:

This program is designed to increase foot traffic at your place of business or at your booth at a convention through animal encounters. We will come to your company with some puppies or young dogs that are available for adoption!

The purpose is to attract customers and increase awareness of your company. Puppies attract attention which will afford you time to share your messaging with potential customers. Not only do they provide attention-getting cuteness, but puppies also reduce stress levels and spread joy, which creates a positive correlation to your business. (Based on availability)

Here’s how it works:

• Choose some dates that will work for your business. (We will work to accommodate based on availability)

• The program is available to any business within 15 miles of Paws Crossed Animal Rescue.

• The animal encounters may take place inside or outside depending on weather.

• The sessions are typically 2 hours between 11am to 4pm based on Rescue availability.

• Two or three pets will be provided for the visit depending on availability.

• Awareness Days are $750 per event/day.

Group volunteering is a great way to encourage teamwork and get your employees involved in the community! Working together in the community gives employees a fresh perspective on productive interaction; this often carries over to the workplace, to the company's benefit!

Here’s how it works:

• Pick a few dates that might work for your company (availability will vary based on project availability).

• This program is offered to any company able to travel to Paws Crossed Animal Rescue.

Dress Down Days:

This is a fun way to encourage your employees to give back and get comfortable at work!  You set the donation amount that is suggested for employees to dress down on a certain day! This can be repeated as often as your company likes!

Here’s how it works:

• Pick a date (or repeating dates) that employees will be able to dress down.

• Advertise in advance to let people know about the cause benefitting (we can help with this!).

• Collect donation amount of your choice.

• Donate the collection to Paws Crossed - we would love to post a group photo of your team on our social media!

Matching Gifts:

Matching gift programs encourage employees to put their trust in their employers. Not only do employees feel good about themselves after they make a donation, but they can feel good that their employer is philanthropic as well. Businesses with a Matching Gift program consistently have happier, more engaged, and productive employees than those that do not.

Here’s how it works:

• Choose the minimum and maximum match amounts and your matching ratio (1:1 is the most popular).

• Advertise this benefit to your employees.

• Create a form for your employees to submit their gifts.

Offering grants to organizations your employees volunteer their time for generates goodwill and positive publicity, attracts and retains top talent, creates tax benefits for the corporation

Additionally, volunteer grant programs offer a set of unique benefits by promoting volunteerism in your community, enabling employees to gain recognition, provides an incentive for employees to track volunteer hours!

Here’s how it works:

• Choose the number of volunteer hours that qualify for a grant and choose the grant amount.

• Advertise this benefit to your employees.

• Create a form for your employees to submit their time.
