JULIE CORBALIS is a Hudson Valley based singer-songwriter who has been performing her own music as well as classic covers since 1996. Corbalis has recorded six albums to date: two with her band Jules & The Family (Jules & The Family, 2005; Border Radio, 2007), 3 as a solo performer ("Old Flames And New Names," 2008; "Songs In A Bottle," 2013, and the 2016 release "What's Up With This Heart?") and one as a collaborative effort with fellow local musicians (Backwoods Jupiter Presents Bob Dylan's Desire, 2011). Her latest single, "Drinking Buddy" was released in May 2020. Julie has toured throughout the Northeast US and Ontario, Canada, as well as performed throughout Europe and Japan. Currently she is touring with the folk band Guthrie's Ghost. In addition to being a full time musician, "Ms. Corbalis" has also taught middle school social studies for 23 years. He has spent decades on the road in the US, Canada and Europe, playing his "Country Rock with a Bossa Nova Twist". He has performed with a wide variety of artists, from Gordon Lightfoot to Jerry Lee Lewis to Norah Jones, Doc Watson to Fishbone, Merle Haggard to The Meters and his original songbook of many genres blends with them all. He is an accomplished finger-picking solo performer that could make you laugh or have you shed a tear, as well as a storied band leader, comfortably riding his well worn power trio into a dance frenzy or leading his decadent 7 piece outfit (complete with The Broken Mariachi horn section) deep into his sometimes humorous, yet often heartbreaking repertoire. "As clever as The Beatles" Americana Highways SUPER TROOPERS and SUPER TROOPERS 2 Jack Grace is known for his five songs in the cult hit, Super Troopers (Fox Searchlight), which Jack also aided in scoring. The song, “Big Bear," is also featured in Super Troopers 2 (Fox Searchlight), making Jack the only artist to have music in both movies. "He’s a New York legend."
