Scout Troops & School Groups
Thank you so much for your interest in visiting Paws Crossed! Our young animal advocates are the future of animal rescue!
For Scout Troops and School Groups we offer fun and informational tours of Paws Crossed Animal Rescue:
-
Each session is approximately ½ hour long. The children/young adults will have the chance to see our new Adoption Center, have a Q&A session with one of our staff members and will have the opportunity to meet with one of our special, adoptable pets. These sessions are geared for children 8 and up.
-
Each session has a minimum limit of 8 children/young adults and maximum limit of 15 (total of children/young adults and adults). When signing up, please make sure to let us know how many children and adults will be attending.
-
Prior to your visit we require that you have the children either do a small supply drive, bake sale, or create something for the pets (toys, blankets, etc…). This project is completely up to your Troop or School and is an important part in teaching them a valuable lesson of sharing and a wonderful sense of community. We also suggest a small informative lesson prior to your visit (once you sign up, we will send you an information/question sheet to share with your scouts/class) to prepare everyone for their visit.
-
After you sign up for a tour date, you will be sent a detailed email including waivers to be filled out and signed for everyone attending.
-
Check back frequently for additional dates if your desired date isn’t available!
